Presentation: Beautiful, tall, sculptured 22oz silver can, going gold towards the bottom. You really feel like you have something bold in your hand.
Appearance: Brilliant, bright, rich gold. Pours a big foamy and thick white head that relaxes into a whisp lace.
Smell: A rather clean nose with faint aromas of grain, metallic and floral.
Taste: Medium-bodied, rich, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Nice initial lemony hop snap that wakens the palate. A crisp light malty sweet profile follows with grain, dextrin and metallic flavours. Delicate underlining hop tea-like flavours stretch from the beginning to end. There's a thin fruitiness to the brew as well (melon-like). Finishes only slighty dry with a metallic aftertaste.
Notes: This is Sapporo's special beer, a Malt Liquor, brewed twice as long as the other variations of Sapporo. I like this brew. A great complement to sushi, and an excellent alternative to many of the American styles of the same.

poured into my Blue Moon pilsner glass and immediately got 9 inches of head. I mean foam. waited. then poured some more. I can smell corn. frothy head. not special in any regard. why do I do this to myself? I have a cellar full of really good stuff and yet I buy this turd, and others.... it said "all malt" so I was intrigued.... it 'piqued' my curiosity... wish it were only 12 oz instead of this.... holy crap this can is 22oz!!!
first drink is bland, bitter, sweet, corn-y. immediately tells my brain to order pizza. now I know why- bland bread carbs to wipe out nasty taste... but hey! everyone gave them a 75 in the ratings! that's better than the other swill I have left. I ought to just switch over to whiskey now while i'm still in a good mood...
wait! "brewed and canned in Ontario Canada...." WTF??? darned Canadians.,....

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: Not quite crystal clear golden color. Fizzy white head the calms to a film, no lacing.
Aroma: Sweet rice, grains up front. Smelled metallic at first but much better after the beer settled for a few minutes.
Taste: Starts out a bit metallic, sour, and rough. As the beer warms, it seems to mellow out into cardboard, papery grains, and just a little bit of a metallic finish.
Mouthfeel: Almost creamy, but has too much bite on the finish.
Overall: A bit rough around the edges, the flavor seemed to change from the first sip to the last. Didn't really care for the inconsistency.

Overall, this is a good tasting beer; nice malt flavors with some hop notes. The color is somewhat between a yellow and orange color, very appealing color for a beer.
The biggest issue, in my opinion, is that it is very flat tasting. There was no head after pouring this beer and I see no signs of carbonation within the glass. This leaves something desired on the palate when drinking.
