A: hazy; burnt orange in color; 1 finger off white head that receded slowly to a think cap; moderate lacing;

S: mostly floral hops; a little pine hops and caramel malt in the back ground;

T: earthy with a little pine in the background; moderate bitterness on the finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation;

O; a nice beer; I'd buy it again; having said that, it's kind of all over the place - like it doesn't know what it wants to be;

From the 650 ml. bottle dated April 7, 2014. Sampled on May 26, 2014.

The pour is a slight hazy copper orange amber with a long lasting white foamy head that lingers on.

The aroma has a decent dose of floral and piney hops that emit a grapefruit-like character. The toasted malts figure into the aroma a little bit too.

The body is around medium and fairly smooth.

The taste has plenty of resiny hops on my tongue but not to the point of exploding in my face. Malt character can also be tasted. This is a well-balanced Imperial IPA that still emphasizes the hops with a dry bitter finale.
