The pint is a large-ish, English style pub. Complete with dark wood bar, trim along the walls, and wood floors and stools. It borders on being too large for its own good when trying to find where your friends are sitting.

The beer selection is pretty average, on par with most Edmonton bars. What I mean is, they have the same kokanee, Bud, Big Rock, Stella, and Alexander Keith's that EVERY bar in Edmonton seems to have. Well, at least they also have Guinness and Newcastle on tap so I have something I can settle for during happy hour.

Happy hour is one of the better in Edmonton. They have weekly specials where you can get $4 pints every day, and certain snacks are cheap weekly as well. To this they add a different daily happy hour special. I like this because you don't have to worry what day of the week you're going to enjoy their happy hour. You can get your ribs and pints cheap every day.

I've only been to the pint during happy hour and the service has been prompt, friendly, helpful, and more importantly, accurate. I'll admit I need to explore the menu more extensively but what I've had there so far, has been tasty and well prepared.

So all in all, not bad. If you want to save money during happy hour, and if you want some good food, The Pint is a good bet. If, however, you want to really get your beer geek on, there's better places in town to go.
