Visited a couple years back, stumbled on it online and thought I should review it. My mouth is watering just thinking about the Tap 5 and meal(s) I had there while in Munich.
Incredibly easy to find but almost always crowded (more locals than tourists). Keep that in mind and hopefully you get a seat.
Beer selection is great as Schneider is one of my favorites in Munich because of the variety. Super fresh beers, nice glassware to match them, service is typical German (simple and effective, if you need something, ask!)
The only thing I was dissapointed with is the fact that they don't offer the special Schneider offerings : Meine Nelson Sauvin for example. Those big fancy bottles of the "rare/now BA" stuff seem to mainly be for export as I have seen them in France, Belgium, and the US.
If in Munich, it is a must visit.

I am a big fan of their beers so for me this is a must. I recommend to any fan of German beer.
Has all there beers available. Also a nice selection of German food. But be warned every night we visited is was very busy and you may need to wait outside for few minutes. We had to on our visits. But worth the short wait and the price is very fair for what you get.

Some of my favorite beers are here so it was pretty much a pilgrimage to go to this place in Munich. So nice to sit outside and watch the people while drinking one of my favorite beers of all time. Typical slow paced bavarian atmosphere. Nice selection for this type of place although I stuck to their original and my favorite. We ordered some plates of food just as a snack and ended up with a feast! Great value.

I learned a lot during my first few hours in Munich, but most notably was how early Germans started their beer drinking. After getting my feet wet in the city (literally and figuratively) for a few hours, it was time to grab a beer. There are a couple enterences into the restaurant; sit yourself down anywhere there's an empty chair. Even before 10am, there were a lot of people inside eating and drinking, and it helped give the place and uplifting feeling.
Wooden chairs and tables around the restaurant, and there are several different rooms. The kitchen and bar sit in the middle of it, as I sat just a throw from it, along a long wooden high table. A moment later I received a special English menu to look at what beers and what food was available. I smiled; 7 different beers on-tap, from the classic Schneider Weiss, the strong Aventinus (my personal favorite), and even two guest lagers, and an addition four from the bottle. Not only was the beer very good, but the matching glassware added beauty as well. Most 300 ml pours went for €3.00, which helped my wallet as I planned to sample several beers.
Lets not forget about the food. 2 Weisswursts and a pretzel for breakfast...oh dear...I'm in love. After that moment, I had a feeling that I was going to love Munich (and I did).
Variety, quality beer, great food, and atmosphere; Weisses Brauhaus brings those characters to a level which very few in Munich can match. This is one to experience.

The Weiss Brauhaus is a great place to grab a Schneider Weiss and a pretzel while walking around the Old City in Munich. The decor is very "German" and the food is pretty good. Like everwhere else in Munich, service is slow (coming from a New Yorker) but it doesn't matter because the beers are big and the need for refills are not often
While in Munich I made a point to visit this place several times. Scneider Weisse Tap 1 mein Blonde proved to be my favorite beer in all of Munich and this place has plenty of them.

Exploring Munich on foot, I stumbled across Weisses Brauhaus and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The place was full and I was able to get a table upstairs. The atmospehere was casual and comfortable. Service was outstanding and the menu and beer selection were excellent. I had the wiener schnitzel with a Schneider Kristall for starters followed by an Aventinus which was amazing. This was not a tourist destination and that made it quaint and genuine. Walking distance from Marienplatz made it very accessible. Across the street from Paulaner and around the corner from Ayinger, Augustiner and Hofbrauhaus. Went to each of them and enjoyed every one of them. Weisses was a highlight for me.

Stopped here on good Friday, the place was still nearly full. I tried going the Friday before and it was so packed we couldn't even sit.
It has a pretty good selection of beers including just about every Schneider beer and about 5 or 6 guest beers.
I tried the Kristal, Blonde, and Eisbock. They were all good. The service was also good. The wurst I had was good though pricey.
All in all this is a great destination just to the east of Marienplatz, it is easy to find right across from McDonald's and Burger King.

I stopped in here on my oktoberfest brewery tour last week in munich.
The location is great as its located right outside the Marienplatz on the corner of 3 streets. There is some nice outside seating, though inside you have the traditional baviarian restaurant/bar theme going on with nice long tables, a few hightops by the bar, and a nice backroom that was great for dinner. I had the Aventinus from the bottle and was given the appropriate glasswares. The bottle looked a little different than what we get in the states but the beer was the same, maybe a bit fresher. Service was typical for munich, with little to no interaction between the waitors and the patrons. The price was about 4 euros per beer depending and they had the whole schneider line up (original, aventinus, eisbock) as well as a few draft lines. Great place to stop in and relax with a weisse beer or two, and really a nice atmosphere to be in.

my brothers and i spent last week in munich; two nights were spent here at this joint. the atmosphere here is nice and traditional, with plenty of seating. the first night we went we met some german dudes who we friendly; the server, however, was not. we never saw a menu, as we were there for the beer, so i had no idea what they had as far as selection. we just went with big mugs of original weisse. the second night, we found the english menu, and i'll be damned if they didn't have the best selection of munich's beer halls. they even had hopfen-weisse, which was infinitely better than it was when i first had it in the states. it was fresh, pungent and delicious. after all the helles, dunkles & hefes we'd been drinking, it was awesome to get my hop fix. the server again was very surly, but after we befriended an older local sitting at our table who was a regular, she warmed up to us. he told us most of the servers are like that. the food was also really good. overall, with the exception of the servers, this was a great place to visit, and our favorite of the trip.

I have been there a couple of times at different times of the year and day and the atmosphere is obviously different at midday (when it is packed) than at night when many people have moved on to bars and clubs.
I f you are lucky to get a seat in the great hall downstairs it is quite a good atmosphere but the rest of the building is like a maze.
The main selling point is the selection of beers including 3 of my all time favourites (Aventinus, Aventinus Eisbock and Hopfenweisse)
Also there are the standard choices and an interesting strong Hefeweizen(6.00%) called "Mein Gruenes" which has higher ABV and more hops than usual - another must try.
The food is hearty and OK.
