Bottle shared by Kelly and Paul, thanks for the opportunity! slightly hazy deep golden color. Rich bready honey maltiness with some faint earthy pine and citrus hos to counter. My favorite IPA of the night.

Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. The beer has been in my cellar for about a year so its possible the hops have faded, we shall see.
The beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with bleached white densely packed head of 2 cm. There is a little bit of sediment in the bottom of the glass. The head fades to a thin edge layer and the a super wispy island. The aroma is some pineapple notes and grapefruit rind. I also get some light honey sweetness that is kind of floral in general.
The first sip reveals a light body with very fine and tingly carbonation. Texture is thinner than expected and washes across my palate easily and quickly on each swallow.
FLavor is what the nose advertises with some sweet malt up front and then it rolls to a rindy hop note with some grapefruit and a bit of orange sweetness too. Maybe that is from the honey. The beer finishes very dry with a bit of a pithy astringent bite. I find this beer very drinkable with no hint of alcohol. At 7% the booze is sneaky for a lighter bodied beer.

Quality beer. Can taste and smell the honey but it's not overpowering. Very good beer.

Tropical indeed.
Aroma full of tropical fruit and citrus flavors.
Taste follows, but with depth. Great mouthfeel to round this beauty out.
Really enjoyed it out of the bottle.
