Another beer from last summer in the "I liked everything from Peticolas except their hoppy beers series." This wasn't hoppy, so short review: I liked it.
Pours a bright yellow color, kolsch haze, I dunno, sometimes I see that this style is supposed to be all clear and whatnot, straw yellow like light appearance, 1/2" white head split into an old school Pete's Summer Ale and Alaskan IPA pint glasses . Aroma hit the yeast, mineral, bready barley, floral, hint of lemon and sunshine to it. Seems on point for style, not amped up hops or anything imperialized. Could envision both yeasts on this one.
Taste is a nice bright experience hitting the style expectations. Crisp carbonation and feels. Light bitter hopping. This strokes the kolsch buttons. You get the good sized flavor packets in a session strength can. I can definitely see this one pairing well with food. I thought it was pretty well done and worthy of being in the summer cooler for softball or river time.

16oz canned 4/30/21, opened 7/11/21.
2 finger dense white head with very good retention.
Golden, bright with a chill haze. Sticky lacing pattern.
Bready malt, minerality, light apple fruitiness. Subtle overall aromas - pleasant.
Clean malt and mild but persistent herbal/spicy hop flavors.
Drinkability is high and at 4.6% a definite session option.
Light body, low to medium carbonation with a creamy mouthfeel. Clean, lightly bitter, and dry finish.
Good to Very Good.

Its one of those beers that is very stable, clean, smooth, with a lingering aftertaste.
Golden yellow, thick thick head.
All the reviews have the same theme, nothing special but worth its grain.
Crisp.

Had at Lakewood Growler, Dallas, on draft into pint tumbler.
A very true-to-style Kölsch, for those without access to any beer from Köln and in need of a Kölsch touchstone after enjoying many Americanized versions.

Had it on tap in a shaker glass. Clear yellow with a nice white head and good lacing. Fragrant floral smell. Very nice crisp clean taste as expected from the type. Slightly sweet and lemony. Enjoyed it.
