Smooth and malty, but a little metallic. Not quite there flavour wise. Hops are almost non existent, and there’s an earthy yeast note on top of the metal. I don’t think I’d have it again.

Date: 9/23/14
Location: Halftime Mamaroneck
Draught/Bottle: Bottle
Glassware: Snifter

Appearance: Dark brown in color with ruby colored notes from the Munich malts. The head is light in color and short lived.
Aroma: The aroma is malt sweet smelling of rich bready flavors and some sugars. Some hop aroma it's earthy and even a little grassy.
Taste: The flavor is strong of the Munich malting coming in bready with lots of malt sugars. The hopping adds little bitterness but a more prevalent grassy flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and medium carbonation. A sweetness from the malts leaves my mouth watering a touch as some of the hops add a touch of dryness to the beer in the finish.

Notes: Dated 4/1/15

Brown, clear, rising bubbles, fair head and lace, Ii'll work on appearance.

Malty as hell, almost octoberfrest material but a bit heavier, caramel malts big time, biscuit and bread, hops presence only balances but doesn't stand out.

Thick and chewy, yet lagery. An interesting break from the various IPAs and PAs I've had in the last few weeks. Love varying the style, this one ain't a bad example either.
