Deep yellow, tending to orange. Lightly veiled. White foam, compact, quite beautiful.
A lot of banana, and some cloves, in the smell. Absolutely sweet, with a strong banana, and also strawberry, and chewing gum.
A bit less in the taste, but it remains too sweet. And also aftertaste. Heavy.
With a low drinkability.

Aroma holds some slightly smokey notes at first and a bit of a hot dog water smell. Then some mild yeasty bannana aroma comes in. Cloudy yellow in color with a lasting thumb thick white head. More hot dog water in the fore and more mild smoked flavors...smoked like a little smokie..not like a Rauch. Very mild bannana notes. No spice or cloves. Has a smoked wheat grain taste that is pervasive and foreign to my palate.

Appearance: hazy, no floating yeast with a pale light orange colour. The head is white, moderate and frothy. It may not be long lasting and there is no lacing whatsoever.
Aroma: wheat, yeast, citrus and cloves.
Taste: wheat and citrus presence.
Mouthfeel: dry, low carbonation, low alcoholic strength (5.1% ABV) and watery body.
Finish: very short watery aftertaste.
Overall: despite the acceptable nose, I would not recommend this one. It is diluted, weak and unappealing. It not even seen to be a Weizenbier. Definitely the last one.

Pours out a cloudy apricot body with a 2 finger head that recedes to a thin rim of foam. Leaves some scattered lacing. Banana and malt come out most in the smell. Very bready in the nose and not as crisp as I'm used to with hefes. Clove is very subdued and even a mildly herbal hop presence seems to out-muscle any clove. Flavor is not very much like a decent hefeweizen should be. This one here is really mild on esters and phenols, only offering some kind of faint mix of banana and bubblegum. Lots of bread and honey though, which makes this seem almost like a helles. I can pick out some hop in the finish. I get this weird rubber band flavor in the middle as well, which is extremely off-putting and confounding all the same as this is only a week past the "best by..." date. Mouthfeel is kind of prickly and doesn't have that nice fluffiness I tend to attribute to weissbiers. Pretty disappointed in this one.

The colour is yellow-orange; the liquid a bit hazy. The two fingers head is white firm and compact; it sinks very slowly leaving an impressive lacing.
The smell is mild with some notes of wheat dough, some sour flavours and a hint of yeast.
The taste is a little sour with some notes of wheat dough, bakers yeast and some fruity notes of dried apricots. The aftertaste is a bit watery with some dry notes of wheat and yeast.
The carbonation is quite mild, the liquid a little watery.
A weizen just below the average

Poured from a 12oz bottle with a fliptop and best by date on the back label. Had a nice strong yellow color with good head, carb and lacing. Had a good wheat beer smell. The mouthfeel was average. The taste however was pretty bland and tasted watered down. Ranks towards the bottom of the wheats I've tried and for a German wheat probably the bottom. I'll try again to make sure I didn't have a bad bottle but you can do better (2.5, RB, ML, O)

Aroma: Yeasty banana, slightest sweet malt base, and just a touch of acetaldehyde.
Appearance: Short lived head of white on a hazy deep yellow.
Flavor: Sweetness helps this one out, but the same off hop (old, cheesy) flavor as the Pils.
Mouthfeel: Touch fizzy, medium thin body
Overall Impression: Eh, not bad, but few reasons to love it. I could at least finish this one, which I couldnt do with its brothers.

Poured from 12oz flip top into 23oz NY Mets pilsner glass.
Appearance: Cloudy golden-brown color with a large, slowly dissipating white head that leaves lots of spots of lace.
Smell: Typical wheat and yeast smells are prevalent, with hints of clove and phenol. A touch of spice, as well.
Taste: Very very light on flavor. A slight hint of sweetness to begin, finishing with a hint of wheat and a slight bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Light and watery, with light carbonation and a refreshing, clean finish.
Mouthfeel: This beer was a disappointment- it has nothing about it to make it stand out, and a very weak flavor. There are many American hefeweizens I would pick over this one, and even more German ones I would pick before it. This beer isn't necessarily one to be avoided, but it's very underwhelming.

Pours a hazey and dark copper with sunshine yellow highlights at the bottom of my glass. Very quick head for a weizen, leaving only a ring of only a minute after the pour. The light bananas also have cheryy mixed in with this wheat bread aroma. Not very yeasty and very subtle. I like wheat beers with an upfront scent profile, not too much ambiguity. The taste starts with some wheat bread. The finish is a bit flat. I was missing out on some carbonatio that is seen but not felt. Not to mention the increasingly lighter and lighter malt flavors as each sip finishes.

Swing-top bottle that opened with a nice, solid "pop" when the hinge forced the top to un-seat. Very average German Hefe all the way around. Appearance was par for the course with a slightly cloudy yellow-orange colour and a big, fluffy white head. Standard banana and spices Hefe combo in both the smell and the taste. I'd buy it again because I really enjoy the style, but I won't be rushing out to stock up on it. Again, very average.

Popped rubber stopper and poured nice huge head. Very carbonated and a golden brown color.
Smells heavy of malts and faintly of banana and clove
Taste is somewhat watery and malty
Mouth feel is watery, somewhat flat. Does not really have a wide palette range.
Drink ability wasnt great. Tastes below average compared to most other hefe weizens.

Pours out a slightly hazy dark orange with a nice foamy white head.
Smell. very nice and delicate aromas of banana, and just a touch of clove. The banana seems to have a candy banana aroma, like laffy taffy- gives it a little creaminess.
Taste. More of the candy banana flavor, which i am not too much a fan of. I dont get any cloves. This one seems to be quite sweet. Not bad, interesting. Aftertaste seems to be a little off for me.
Mouthfeel. Body is average, carbonation is at a good level. Seems to also have a creaminess to it.
Overall, i am liking this less and less as i am drinking it. Certainly a different aproach to the style than i have had. I wouldnt say avoid this one, but i would not recommend it.

Run of the mill hefe....nose has some yeasty sourness to it along with a little banana...body is on the light side of medium...relatively tasteless for a hefe...some mild banana and yeasty sourness..just not a lot of flavor and I'm not a big fan of the yeasty sourness...
Many better than this...

Hmmm, kind of an interesting weizen. Got this bottle at Surdyk's in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. Poured with a big, foamy, light tan head and no lace. Color is a hazy (once the complete contents are poured if the bottle hasn't been aggitated before pouring) medium amber. Aroma is sort of typical Bavarian weizen: bananas and wheat with pungency and minerals. Flavor's about the same. Slightly tart, little sweetness, a little bitter. Decent body, typical weizen carbonation. Not bad. Not great. Not labeled as a "hefe" but did seem to have some yeast trub. Would have again, could be session.

The beer is pale hazy amber, has a white high head which leaves good lacing but small curtains.
The smell is spicy, coriander, banana and the typical wheat sourness.
The taste is sweet, wheat buns with cinnamon and cardamon, a dash of lemon.
Medium high carbonation, soft and refreshing, a medium low body, a slightly sticky finish.
A rather standard, not bad, weizen.
