A - Awesome swing top 11.2oz bottle. Pours a murky/cloudy burnt amber body with a fizzy 2-finger white head that subsides quicker than most hefs. Ok lacing.
S - Muted aromas of banana and yeast. Not much clove and no hops to speak of, per style. Not as vibrant in the smell as I would like but the aromas I do get are spot on for the style.
T & M - lively carbonation that leads to a somewhat dry mouthfeel but stays wet enough to be very refreshing. Straight up banana right off the bat with a light lemon twang. Good malt backbone that is crackery. Relatively light-bodied. Again, very refreshing. Becomes a bit musty as it warms and the flavors break down a bit IMO.
O - I certainly liked this one and will drink it again. Not the best hef out there and not as refined as some but it is truly tasty and refreshing.

I found these at the Binny's store in Bloomingdale, IL for $2.99 each. 330ml brown bottles with a swing top cap and a freshness date stamped on the bottom of the back label.
The beer poured a cloudy golden yellow color and made a 1-finger white head that lasted a few minutes before settling to a thin white cap.. Lacing was minimal.
The beer smelled like a bowl of Wheaties with bananas on top. There was also a swweet buttery toffee aroma.
The beer was high in both wheat flavor and bananas but low on clove spiciness, although some clove was present. A sweet buttery toffee flavor was also present - like the center of a Heath bar. Hop bitterness was undetectable.
Light to medium body with medium carbonation.
This is a good hefewizen, but also a non typical one because of the toffee sweetness. I'd recommend it and gladly open a second one.

Pours a clear golden color with minimal head. I would normally expect the unfiltered look for this style, but this one looks rather pristine. The aroma is straight banana with some what malt to back it up. No hop presence to speak of. Taste is well balanced with lots of fruity banana flavors that are kept in check by dry wheat malt notes. Mouthfeel is light and moderately carbonated. Overall, a well balanced hefe with nice bright yeasty fruit notes.

Sampled tonight on 1/18/14. Had this one back in 2012 once before. Comes in a nice 330ml (11.2 ounce) bottle with a ceramic stopper. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a pilsner glass.
Pours a nice hazy apricot in color with a thin off-white head. Some spotty lacing was seen. The aroma is of sweet grassy grains with a hint of banana and citrus. The taste was very pleasing and much like the smell with a slight hint of cloves for the finish. Goes down easy. Perfect carbonation. No harsh or bitter aftertaste and is one of the better German 'Hefes'.
