Appearance: Semi-cloudy golden-yellow from the pint can, with a rich head of white suds. Nice wall of intricate lace, too.
Aroma: Nice zesty orange spice. I get the Belgian yeast, as well as the hops. Yes!
Taste: Brisk and fruity with a perfect union of spice and fruitiness. Very tasty and among the better Tin Man canned offerings I’ve had. Really good!

Aroma is wheat dominant, with orange peel and coriander adding complexity. Fairly floral, but hops are subtly citrusy.
Flavor is more herbal than expected, with lemony citrus and wheat sweetness carrying into a piney, moderately bitter finish.

With warmer weather beckoning, so does the need for more refreshing beer. In the lower midwest, that manifests in a zesty and fruity beer that's layered on a bed of wheat. With the gentle fruit additions, the bright and zesty taste of spring has found favor in Tin Man's glass.
Wired White IPA pours with the expected cloudy straw hue, showing a soft golden glow through the center. Its zesty aromas open with utmost grapefruit, orange and lemon with a soft and earthy undertow of baking wheat bread. To taste, its that bread sweetness that joins a confectioner's sweetness to form a mildly tart sugar cookie character.
Short-lived, that sweetness quickly turns to raw grain and a tart bitterness. Grapefruit, orange and lemon play out shortly after the malt sweetness subsides and its more hoppy flavors turn grassy, bitter and herbal. A soft pine character ensues as the bitterness trends peppery and with dry melon.
Finishing medium-light, the beer's effervescent texture is lively and highlights a lemon and lime character that chases the beer into a crisp, clean and refreshing taste with an assertive hop bite that's grassy, leafy and grain-centric. A quick aftertaste of wheat echoes briefly before a long, bitter linger.

I'm not a fan of White IPA s but I found this to be a well constructed and overall flavorful beer. Very floral hop character of perfume, flowers, rose petal, honey suckle and grapefruit. Light malt back with some herbal notes.
