The can was really cool at the liquor store and I wanted to support a local brewery (IN).
A - Beautiful gold color with small white bubbles to get a strong head. Great lacing. Very clear.
S - Strong hop nose. Dank hoppiness that I love. Light citrus, some pine, and light floral.
T - Has all the hops from the smell with lots of the C-Hop notes from the list of hops in this great brew. Light complimenting grain flavor but mostly hoppy. Nice finish with nice hop bitterness. Right in the middle of cloying and dry.
M - Moderate to light mouth-feel. Has some bitterness but is mostly clean on the finish. Hoppy but balanced mouth-feel. Perfect carbonation.
Overall, a deliciously flavored IIPA. Great dank hoppiness that rules the brew. I love the hops and the body makes for a delicious brew. Perfect if you like your IIPAs less heavy and full of juicy hops. Definitely gives you a buzz after a pint of 8% DIPA! It's from the Midwest but seems like it should be from the Pacific NW. I could drink these for ever!

Poured into Tin Man goblet at brewpub a nice amber with solid lace.
Aroma is tropical fruit, pineapple, mango....very good, refreshing start (and on a warm summer afternoon, too). Score some points with aroma.
Taste is mild and balanced. Plenty of hops in here, but not the hop-bomb I'd expect somehow. Still, this proved to be a very enjoyable and tasty IPA. I will definitely revisit on draft, and pick up a 4-pack of cans once available.
And this is a review of the canned version, finally appearing in about November of 2013:
This is a stronger 9%, rather than the 7-something percent of the draft version, but it doesn't fare quite as well.
Pours a clean light amber, with a rich head of white suds. Beautiful lace.
Nose is citrus hops, a little caramel in the malts. Pleasing, to be sure.
Taste is strong and full-bodied, with hops up front -- citrus, grapefruit, and some pine notes.
Decent balance, with plenty of malts in there -- in fact, this seems really heavy on the malts, to the point of being almost cloying and muddy. Much better in a pint glass from draft.

Awesome beer, very well balanced for a very smooth initial taste and a perfect aftertaste that doesn't linger. Not super filling. It is going to be offered locally soon. Tin Man brewery has a great atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff. Food is good. So far their entire offering has been a great fine.

Pours a dark copper color with a full 3 fingers of head lingering on top. It does not dissipate quickly either. The smell is very subtle, I had to really get in there to pick up all the subtle notes in the nose. There's candied caramel from the malt, and nice honeysuckle note from the esters. The taste is still subtle and keeps the alcohol well hidden in such a big beer. Honeysuckle, some light honey along with a nice hint of bitterness in the finish, but sort of leaves a slightly metallic aftertaste.
It's not nearly a mind blowing DIPA but its well crafted and has a little bit of uniqueness to it with the subtlety of the flavors.

This is a really solid imperial IPA. Had great aroma and taste. It hides the 9% alcohol pretty well too. Decent lacing. Was pleased to see they are offering this in tall boy four packs too. Need to pick some up to take home (although they do distribute where I live, so that's cool).

Served from 16 oz can. Apperance is clear golden with thin white head. Nose is ripe full of c-hops. Nice floral aromas with resinous notes, citrus, and pine. Smells leaps and bounds better than the other offerings I have tasted from tinman. Some caramel malts show up in the back with lots of grapefruit as well. Taste has large amount of bittering hops, notes of lemon and grapefruit come through the strongest. Mouthfeel is light and well carbonated. Overall, much improved from the other tin man beers, maybe they're on to something.
