Clearish golden colour with a creamy, white head. Good head retention.

Orange and chilli aroma. Really intriguing. Some malt. Nice.

Sweet malt and plenty of bitterness. Nice orange hop notes. Lacking a deep hop flavour.

Medium body with moderate carbonation. Fine.

A good IPA. A little unbalanced but it works reasonably well. (338 characters)

Pours dark amber with a fading head.
Nose shows rich sweet syrupy malt along with resionous and fruity hops. Marmalade, peach and plum. Nice
Very aggressive flavours. Piny and resinous hops dominate along with a massive bitterness. Lots of malt too, but the bitterness wins out for sure.
Carbonation could be a bit higher. (322 characters)

I know it's boring to score them all the same but that's just the way it is. (76 characters)

On tap at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and easy to drink. (632 characters)

A beatiful, a little bit hazy, orange-golden colored beer with a huge, three finger high head. A lot of lacing stays on the glass when the fluffy head finally sinks down to a 5 mm thick "whipped cream" style head.

I just love the nose! Tropical fruit, mango, orange marmelade, hops, grass, grapefruit, caramel malt, herbs and pine.

Taste: Orange, tropical fruit, earthy, grapefruit, a soft, creamy taste. A very balanced bitterness. The ABV of 8% is well hidden. You get a little alcohol taste but not to much.
Body: Medium body and medium carbonation. A soft, creamy body with great texture. Malty backbone.

Maybe you have guessed it by now: I LOVE this DIPA! Nothing overwhelming - Just right! So good, creamy, hoppy and... just lovely! (743 characters)

On tap at the Norfolk in Fremantle.

A - pours a mango colour, murky with a dense creamy white head, great retention and big sloppy shoelaces of lacing.

S - nice soft fruity hop bouquet, peach, pineapple and citrus.

T - hop forward yet not a big bitter bomb by any means. White peach is prominent, very tropical and extremely sessionable.

M - medium bodied, carbonation level is right on, juicy.

O - good stuff, definately worth a try if you get the chance. (461 characters)

Format: a 100mL taster from the cellar door at Garage Project during Auckland Beer Week. n.b. the label on the bottles / cans are funky per the Garage Project norm.

Appearance: poured out a hazy orange-amber with fine carbonation. A one-finger foamy off-white head slowly drops to a thick half-finger. Looks good.

Aroma: plenty of citrus, herbal and floral aromas - what a whirlwind! A bit too herbal for me.

Taste: plenty more citrus and herbal, with a touch of earth and floral. Nicely made, but a bit too sharp and bitter for my liking.

Aftertaste: plenty of herbal hop bitterness, with a slight amount of biscuit malts.

Mouth feel: moderate in feel and carbonation, quite dry on the finish.

Overall: another well put together beer from Garage Project, though I must admit that the strong herbal note is not my favoured style. Typically expensive at around AU$18 a bottle. (881 characters)
