(Served in a strange)
labeled as an Imperial Red Ale
600 ml bottle
Validade JUN2012
A- This beer has a slightly hazy slightly dense dark caramel brown body with a thin beige film that fades to a thick ring and is supported by a gentle carbonation.
S- The clean aroma has a brassy wheatwine nose with some spicy malt notes and a finish that is some sweet candy malt.
T- The slightly tangy taste of raw sugar blends with toffee malt and some alcohol in the finish. There is a lemon character to the very soft hops. As the beer opens a water taste with some fresh sweet wort flavors come into the finish.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle alcohol heat that grows but never becomes hot and a tight little fizz in the finish.
O- This beer has a crisp interesting flavor with a nice blend of soft flavors. I would describe it as a dark tripel. There aren't any hops but an interesting tang and tartness that I'm not sure where it comes from. The brassy aroma and taste grows a bit to strong but it adds to the other characters nicely.
