A: Light honey color and clarity with a decent white head at first that calms to a thin cap on top

S: Really nice citrus hoppy sweet yum flavor. has an orange flower aroma with a honey malt to back it up

T: A real nice balance of citrus and hops. both are noticeable and wonderful but neither dominate the other. The backbone bulks it up just enough with a creamy chewy mouthfeel to keep me wanting more of the bitter fruit

O: A lovely balanced IPA with the fruit character that makes it a perfect summertime drinker. very enjoyable and one of my favorite I've had from the new brewery

Pours hazy orange color perfect, The smell is faintly of orange, citrus no real hop bitterness. The taste is amazing bright citrus, followed by a sour bite on the tongue. Sticks with you and then you get the bitterness on the back end. Mouthfeel is smooth could easily drink the whole growler in 1 sitting... I probably shouldn't but I could.

From growler. Again another highly hyped Burnt Hickory Brewing beer. Was told by shop man that I was "lucky" to get this beer because it's going so fast. I can see why. Oranges and beer? It works. kinda murky but is really a fabulous combination of flavors. i can't narrow the hop down but i think the oranges play off it really well.

Appearance: Delicately hazed, orange-gold body with a foamy, whitish head.

Smell: Pleasantly aromatic aroma smelling of homemade marmalade-like scent atop malty, sweetish notes of caramel and honey tossed barley grains. After the initial few whiffs, the orange incorporates nicely, becoming not the full-on focus, but a very welcome component.

Taste: Scantly toasted grains, a bit of breadiness, and touches of both blonde caramel and wildflower honey. Quick-moving resinous, grassy qualities, then, citrus-minded hops and brisk orange peelings. Moderately bitter. The sweetness drops out before the bitterish, grassy, orange-tinged finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with a slight stickiness to the overall mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.

Overall: The fresh citrus scent is rather welcoming. It's like you're riding a citrus rocket getting pounded by orange meteorites. Flavor control to Major Tom!
