This was a pretty beer. In my teku glass it was a clear burnished copper color with a small white head.

Aroma was funk, citrus, and sweet fruit. It was a bit on the tart side.

Taste of lemon, pineapple, and melon. Stayed funky.

A tart, crisp beer.

I wish I had bought more than my two bottle allotment.

Thanks to Mark for sharing, and to Dan for hosting
Quick review from written notes.

Dark golden orange color, thin veil across the surface, spotty bits of lace forms irregular arcs around the edges of the glass.

Funky aroma of wet wood, barrel complexity is present. Oud Bruin impression.

Tart berries and funky woodiness, oak and tobacco in the aftertaste. Well rounded with lots of complexity to keep one interested. Full bodied with a smooth and creamy texture to it. Nearly at a loss for words, there was a lot going on here, and it was all enjoyable.

Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 (and his barrel society privileges) for sharing this

Appearance: Hazy copper, with some touches of brown, gold around the edges - pours with a medium-sized, white head, fades to a small cap, leaves some impressive lacing

Smell: Nicely tart and sour with some hoppy aromas and the typical Night Shift yeast strain - nice funk, with some lactic sour, some tart notes - some light fruits - some nice hoppy notes, but I wouldn't say it's exploding with Nelson Sauvin - some nice, juicy citrus and tropical hints intermingled with funky yeast and barrel - very Night Shift

Taste: Lightly sour, lightly tart, with some interesting citrus - more funk in the aroma than in the taste, but it works - Night Shift yeast and barrels - yeasty with some Brett-like funk - light, lactic sourness - some light fruits, like lemon, as well as some citrus from the hops - orange, tangerine, grapefruit flesh - a touch of pineapple - lightly bitter - definitely interesting, if not the most complex

Mouthfeel: Medium body, light carbonation, smooth, finishes kind of wet

Overall: Worth harassing somebody in the society

This is not the best thing from Night Shift, but that statement is definitely not an insult. It's tasty, with some nice funky notes, tart notes, and citrus. It's worth a try, if you can acquire it.

Appearance: Hazed dark copper orange. Head is dirty off-white, creamy, with a dense smooth bubble structure. Splotches and notches of lacing. Decent head retention leaves a small dense cap. A quick swirl reinvigorates the whole process.

Smell: Typical Night Shift funk. Wet and musty with a sharp lactic push through the back. Lemon zest and juice. Fruity, some peach and vaguely pseudomint (is that what eucalyptus smells like)? Wet wine barrel coupled with white grape and something akin to selzter. A touch of sweet spice, like real cinnamon sticks. A touch of oak and some deeper fruit like raspberry. Damp with some citric bite and a touch of leather. Light punch of tropical fruit from the hops. Vaguely nutty. Peachy.

Taste: Hazelnuts and damp yeasty funk. Some wet oak barrel and a touch of white wine. Some grape skin and peach flesh. Deeply fruity with a nice punch of Nelson Sauvin tropical fruitiness. Night Shift damp funk with an earthy edge to the whole thing. Slightly sweet with a mild bitterness over the top. Nutty in good measure with a ton of mealy peach. Some pear and a hint of almost cocoa. Near mint. Fruity and tart and slightly funky. Slightly caramelized malt base with some bready undertones.

Mouthfeel: Mediumish body with a moderate carbonation. Slightly dry on the finish with a wet initial sip.

Overall: As expected.

It's a Night Shift sour/wild. Damp and funky and fruity. The dry hop is an interesting touch. Age will hopefully develop the sour aspects.
