Pours hazy-gold, with minimal carbonation and 1/4 inch head. Taste is peach, apricot, lemon, and a really big dose of salt. Makes for a really good base wit like beer. I like my goses on the saltier side and this one qualifies. Overall I thought this was an amazing beer and right up there with my favorites from Night Shift.

Pours foggy hazy pale yellow gold with a dissipating creamy frothy white foam head. Smells like sweet tangy wheat, tart lemon, green apple, oyster brine, coriander, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like sweet tangy wheat, sour acidic lemon, green apple, oyster brine, coriander, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice gose with coriander and Island Creek oysters.

Drinking the 2015 variety in a NS snifter, clocking in at a whopping 4.1% ABV. Lovely nose with the salt - and oysters? - coming through. Tart throughout, but mostly on the finish. A little too sour, with it coming up into the back of my nose. However, very palatable and pleasant. I'm going to make sure to get a 2017 version and "cellar" it for a couple of years. Excellent gose.

Drinking my first bottle of the 2017 release, following an 80 mile bike ride. Harborside has been one of my favorite beers over the last 3 or 4 years, and I always make a point to pick up a case or two. It's particularly nice after a workout or something like that. My review is biased a little by comparing with past releases, apologies for that.
L: hazy gold, with a pure white head that fades pretty quickly. Prior years generally had a bit of a reddish tint, doesn't seem to be present here.
S: very slight sour nose, but the salt and coriander are restrained or missing altogether.
T: very tasty, but on the sweet side for a gose (let alone one with oysters. The past editions of this beer have been heavily briny, this one tastes much more restrained. There's an interesting fruit note as well, almost peachy.
F: smooth drinker, well carbonated.
O: still tasty, but not as good as prior editions in my opinion. In the past, drinking Harborside was enough to make me feel like I was sitting in Wellfleet or Duxbury. That's not true this time around. It's still good, just not a multi case beer for me any more.
