Picasso is a 7.2% wild ale blend that pours dark red with a tannic nose of rhubarb and strawberry, sipping sour with spicy notes of rye and red wine. It's a really complex blend that will age beautifully for those patient enough.

750ml bottle poured into a large tulip. This ale looks like a hazy brown ale with a fizzy white head! Spotted lacing when consumed! The smell is like a wet oaky aroma mixed with wine, lemon, funk, hay, and sweet malts. The taste kind of follows the smell but with caramel and some weird bitterness in the end! The feel is super dry and lighter. Overall I don't think aging did this any good or maybe not long enough( I don't know)! I'll try some of their others but not going to search too hard.

Three fingers of offs-white fluffy head. Good retention and lacing. Body is clear brown with ruby hues. Plenty of slow moving carbonation. Nose is tannic with bright red berries underlying. Red wine, oak/vanilla, sweet strawberry. A touch of pie spice? Taste is tart fruit, vanilla/oakiness, followed by bright sweet strawberry. Underlying spice and tannic finish with lingering sweet fruit notes. The fruit and oak become more predominant as it warms. Mouthfeel starts syrupy and sweet, but the tartness and effervescence quickly cuts through. A bit of booze.

Settles into the glass as a brownish body with a hint of amber and a thin off-white head. Aroma is mainly red wine and strawberries, really true to the description. Flavor is tart with notes of red wine and hints of bready malt. Feel is medium bodied with a noticeable tartness and funky finish. A really nice sour that hits the spot in many ways.

The beer certainly looks the part, a dark, deep, rich, brown. Smells of funk and dark fruits. The taste and feel is where it falls short for me. It's definitely not as acidic as it could be and the mouth kind of stops abruptly. It does have the apple cider like character, but it falls short of the Belgian counterparts. I would like to see how this beer is with more time.
