Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy orange/gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong fruity citrus, caramelized malts and some floral hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of lemon, apricot & grapefruit. Then a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a decent IPA to drink for a while.

Received as an extra in a trade. L: very hazy dark peach, small head that dissipates into a collar. S: the nose is the best thing about it - very juicy with lemon balm, mango, peach and pineapple, but also a catty astringency in the background. T: thin and overly dry. Some tropical fruits and some lemon peel, but unpleasantly bitter. F: thin and almost papery dry. Potentially an oxidized sample. Would like to try another can before committing to this rating.

C'mon son. Who is rating these beers?
When you hear a brewer rant about certain beers overhopped to disguise the flaws, this beer is the poster child. The aroma is nice, certainly showcasing some tropical fruit flavors that suggest mango, pineapple and other tropical fruit. But even the nose isn't offering that pop that makes a true winner and there's far too much cat piss that no matter who the hell says is an attractive feature, it simply isn't. Not even in a sour/wild ale.
As for the flavors, it's a muddled mess of fruitiness, bitterness, watered-down session IPA feel and timid malts. Just a mess. This encapsulates the taste and feel.
There are shining moments of delicious probably Mosaic fruit deliciousness that are unfortunately followed by poor mouthfeel (more carbonation than body), extreme bitterness and, again, a complete lack of malt balance.
This beer isn't bad, but someone has to offer an objective review of this beer and in doing so, I'm probably harsher than necessary. This beer is decent, simple and plain.
