A- hazy orange and golden color large white fluffy head
S- floral hops, spices, coriander, orange peel
T- coriander and spices, bitter floral hops, citrus, lemon peel
M- thinner body with generous carbonation.
O-Shining example of what you expect from a Belgian IPA. Lots of spice balanced by a generous amount of hops.

In a snifter the beer was a bright gold color with minimal head.

The aroma was that of citrus and spice. Somewhat earthy.

Grapefruit taste. Coriander. A little bit of late funkiness.

This beer was more spicy than hoppy. Pleasant. I had some on tap at the brewery, and liked it more than the bottled version.

A - Hazy golden yellow, huge white head. Dissipates slowly, little lacing.

S - Spice, yeast, pepper.

T - Floral, spicy hops up front, followed by the coriander. It's a taste shifter.

M - Light body, medium carbonation.

O - Interesting for a cross style brew. The bottle presentation was what drew me in. Champagne style cork and cap. I'm not disappointed, I'm satisfied. No need to try again though.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy deep golden/orange color to it. It has a nice thick white head that dies down moderately and leaves some nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, floral hops, bready malts and peppery spices.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some yeast, bready malts, floral hops, faint citrus and some peppery spices.

Mouthfeel: It has a low/med carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.

With all the hype around this brewery, I've had one terrible beer, and one awesome beer. This looks to have bad reviews, but I'll make my own opinion. Batch 3 bottled on 5/10/13

Pours a nice creamy 1+ finger head that fades at a med pace then quickens, leaves bits of lacing but not much, over semi hazy slightly copper honey orange color.

Nose delivers exactly what it says on the label, starting with a Belgian IPA, some Belgian yeast esters and light phenols, light spicy earthy hops with a bit of a citrus orange peel, then just as quickly it turns to the spices, coriander is very strong, as well as the cardamom as it comes out behind the coriander, and both are way too much, overpowering the subtleties of the what could be a good beer underneath. A slight green stem aroma in there too.

Taste starts again with the Belgian characters, light golden blond malts with some sweetness, and into the yeast esters quickly, with a touch of phenolic twing, then right into the spices, a little less dominant this time but definitely there, with a strong coriander right away, and a bit more subtle cardamom on the back end but also def there. Hops kick in with a mild citrus and spicy, but turn a bit earthy and slightly vegetal strangely. Some bitterness from the yeast, but the cardamom also seems to bring a little bitterness. The esters and phenols from the yeast strain started OK, but the more I drink and the more it warms they remind me of the Trifecta and start to get a weird chemically flavor and unpleasant. Light orange peel and again green stem round off the flavors. finish is long and fairly bitter, more spicy hops, with more of the chemically phenolics lingering too.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, light sticky finish.

Overall not very good, the spices are way too strong, the hops are way too light and barely do anything, I barely get any Cascade goodness, the house Belgian yeast I assume adds these weird chemically phenols that I really don't like. I hope the other two beers I got are better.
