Olive waxed 22 oz bottle, bought at Liquor Shed in Casper.
It pours a clear pale gold with a 2 finger head of foam, nice lacing and the foam is persistent.
The smell is of fresh hops...nice notes of citrus, light grapefruit, lemon zest, that latter bringing some pungent tones.
The taste is very oddly bitter. Very bitter. More than just a grapefruit/lemon bitterness, it crept into the aspirin type of bitterness, which I don't fancy. It's dank ++. The malt presence is minimal; I get a bit of a bready note from time to time. The alcohol is also big. A tough session is what I have here.
It's on the high end of medium bodied, carbonation is okay, the mouthfeel, though, is harsh, brackish?
For personal consumption, this will be my only go at it. It's too rough.
