On tap at ProPig.

Slightly cloudy, golden-yellow pour with a foamy white head that receded to a thick collar; dots of lacing on the glass. Floral and citrusy hops in the nose. Taste was pretty basic for the style, hops--citrus, floral, piney--with a balancing bready malt base, and a dry grassy finish. Light-medium body, simple, easily drinkable. Standard fare here, but a solid pale ale overall.

I work at the brew pub, it's a solid APA for sure...

Sample pour at Vermont Brewfest.

A-Poured a hazy, yellowy orange hue.

S-Light and airy, but still quite hoppy. The aroma wasn't very intense, however, the scents given off were definitely appealing. The combo of Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo & Chinook help to hit most every descriptor for hop aroma.

T-Citrusy and leafy with tropical fruit notes as well. Mildly grassy and piney. The hop-fruit flavors are the most impactful and delicious. A very unobtrusive, plain maltiness delivers just enough sweetness.

M-Light and drinkable. Could go for a pint over a sample. Moderate bitterness. Softer carbonation.

O-My first encounter with Prohibition Pig's brewing endeavors have been successful. This, like the others I tried was clearly very tasty.
