Ski Pilgrimage to Vermont on the beer trail. Had to visit the prohibition pig.
Place was crowded at 7pm on a Friday night but managed to find two seats at the bar. First serving, heady topper. Delicious , citrus and pine hops, very smooth. Rest of the trip is icing on the cake. Ordered the duck fat fries and Pro Pig sandwich ground porK patty , shredded pork BBQ and cole slaw on a bun! Exceptional and recommended. Great BBQ sauces: vinegar, mild and. Habanero. My son had the Vermont crAft macaroni and cheese , excellent. Hill farmstead James, Everett and Edward. All very, very , very good. Everett my new favorite. Great food and beer, must visit

Stopped in for a late lunch after the Cabot/B&J tour double with the kids. Really nice atmosphere; ceiling-high stocked bar, rich dark interior without being dingy.
The food was simply outstanding; I had the GLT (Guinciale, lettuce and tomato) with a side of duck fat French fries. One of the most delicious sandwiches I can ever remember eating; my only complaint was that it was a little small, and I would have been happy eating two! My wife was similarly happy with a burger.
There's nothing else that can be said about the beer selection. My huge disappointment was that they were sold out of Heady Topper. The Hill Farmstead Citra that I had to settle for was outstanding; I only hope that I eventually get
to see what the fuss is all about with HT!
