Saw this on tap last night and couldn't pass it up.
Pours a slightly hazy lemon color, with a nice white cap formed by super-tiny bubbles. good amount of lace is left behind.
Smell is orange zest and wheat, wonderfully fresh hops.
Taste is where this Oberon comes to life. An orange-tinted undertone to back up the taste of freshly cut wheat. Mix in a blast of bright hops, and we have a winner.
I found this to be extremely drinkable. This beer surprised me more than any other at how fast I drank it without noticing. The 5.8% ABV is masked well beneath the sweet blissful flavor. Mouthfeel is smooth, and that makes it just that much easier.
I didn't care much for this category before, but as I try more and more APWA, I just realize I hadn't been drinking the good stuff before.

Poured bottle packaged on 5/29/14 into New Belgium globe
A-Pours a hazy medium gold color with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly with minimal lacing.
S-Smell is of light fruits and citrus, hops, and wheat.
T-Tastes of light citrus and sweet malt up front, followed by some wheat bread taste and finished with some dry hops for a nice amount of bitterness.
M-Mouthfeel is light, tangy, and highly carbonated.
O-Overall a refreshing beer but no outstanding qualities about it.
