Poured a hazy light copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell feature a sociy wheat malt and an estery yeast.

The taste was upfront spicy with a gradual blending of citrus and caramel. Hints of coriander and perhaps cloves detected as well.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style. Closer to a wit.

Overall a tasty wheat ale.

A great summer beer to win over some macro lovers.
Appearance is good with a decent 1.5 finger head.
Smell is very faint, but some quality malt and citrus (maybe orange).
Taste is a bit more pronounce with some malt that is a touch sweet and lighter malt than the nose.
Mouthfeel is good. Medium to light on the tongue.
Drinkability is quite good, it is sessionable but also very light.

L: Pours a hazy amber orange color with a medium sized and medium bodied white colored head that laces the glass nicely on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet toasted malts, sweet wheat malts, hints of citrus and a bit of yeasty aromas at the end.
T: Tastes of sweet wheat, nice hints of citrus (orange, grapefruit, and a bit of lemon) and yeast flavors to finish it off. It's a nice take on the Pale Wheat genre.
M: Crisp, refreshing, perfect amount of carbonation, medium bodied.
D: Overall this is a very sessionable beer with a nice mix of flavors that aren't too overpowering, and a nice feel to it.

Sitting on my deck on the first day of summer (or last day of spring) on a beautiful afternoon - the perfect setting for this beer.

Appearance - Nice cloudy look typical of a wheat ale. Beautiful light orange color - as the bottle says "color of a sunny afternoon".

Smell - Nothing spectacular about the aroma. Kind of like heading south on a gal just out of the shower (sorry). Perhaps there is a slight citrus scent to it, but certainly not a "spicy hop character" and I'm really reaching on that.

Taste - Things start getting good again. I typically like big bold ales and this ain't one of them, but it has a very drinkable taste to it. The kind I could put down all afternoon at a bbq or on the beach (in fact, I need to bring a bunch on vacation).

Mouthfeel - Nice. Has a slightly creamy mouthfeel to it. No biiterness lingering around. In fact, even a few minutes after finishing my glass, my mouth is still happy.

Overall - A great summer beer. As in sitting around outside on a summer day kind of beer.

Follow-up 8/22/2014: Bought some bottles for a Gulf Shores, AL beach house visit - HUGE hit. Then filled a growler at Moondog Growlers in Marietta, GA on the drive home. Got to say I'm not impressed with fresh version. Just nothing to it. Looking forward to comparing it with a can tomorrow.
