Bottle poured into pint glass.

A - very hazy light orange color

S - grains and spices with some coriander/honey, but not incredibly pungent in any way

T - Wheaty malt with citrus, not orange, seems to be more like lemon rind. Hard to place exactly.

M - full body

O - an excellent summer beer!

A: hazy golden with a faint orange glow under bar light. Little head or lacing retention.

S: coriander grains spices with hints of grapefruit and honey. Quite appealing in the spring and summer.

T: tangy citrus bite with little hops and malts that fade into the background. Almost shandy like.

M: peppy, carbonated fresh and crisp. Perfect for a summer day

Fresh dry hay taste with a good bitterness. Has sour notes of a dark cherry. Overall well balanced without being overly complex. Very drinkable white. Not for the sweet tooth.

Minimal head as it was poured.

Smell was too subtle to rate in this environment.

Agree with other top reviewers - this is one of best US Wheat Beers.
Try Carton's Wit Whale for a brand new offering to compare.

A: Rich firm head, that overcaps the glass and descends very slowing to into a "man on the moon" crater face and canyons of lace.

S: Too mild. Low maltiness, but apricot style fruit. Low yeast. The taste is much greater than the aroma.

Taste: Wheat Malt with apricot/lemony fruit is checked by the bitter, mild hops - nicely balanced. Astringent citrus rind with a creamy body. (apricot/orange creamsicle?)

MF: A round, full body. Slightly spicy, peppery in the follow through. Very appetizing, great summer beer, great food beer, and like Carton Wit Whale built for summer seafood, esp shell fish. Ends crisp, refreshing.

Great summertime, must try. I wish this came in cans. Good boat beer.
