Stouts just get better & better, and I wonder sometimes if all the best ones are not all 4.5s?
Appearance: Beautiful body sports a rocky, persistence head and with tons of lacing.
Smell: Smoke, charred wood, licorice, grass.
Taste: Follows smell, with sweet and charred wood start, then coffee with lots of hop bitterness, and in the finish, the flavors burst with complexity: roots, sarsaparillas, burst of coffee, chocolate licorice, molasses, and a tempering tingling, bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full and creamy with moderate carbonation, great feel.
Drinkability: Another top stout without too much ABV, one of my favorites.
Serving type: bottle
