Appearance: Very dark brown/black body. Almost completely opaque with a light brown two finger head full of large and medium size carbonation bubbles.
Aroma: Nice roasted malts. Some sweetness in the nose.
Taste: Surprisingly rich. Lots of bitter coffee and even some hop presence. Deliciously bitter but with that sweetness from the nose in the middle to balance it out.
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied and drinkable. Very easy to swig this one down. A little drying in the aftertaste but nothing off-putting.
Final Thoughts: I really liked this beer. It's one of the best stouts I've ever had from a bottle, almost treading the line between being a porter and a stout. I'll definitely being seeking this one out again, especially in the colder months.

Gainesville House of Beers - on-tap
A - black as night. Thin tan head. Looks beautiful, the way I like my home brewed stouts to look.
S - nice roasty/smokiness. Caramel malts evident. Some cocoa in there too.
T - starts out with this nice roasted maltiness. Has chocolate coming out next with some coffee as well. Not as impressive I guess as I had thought.
M - full body but not as oil thick as other stouts. Drinkable and not too heavy.
O - I like it, not even close to some of Bell's other stuff (can you compare anything to Black Note).
