A: Near-opaque black with a few dark mahogany highlights. Coffee-colored head that sticks and leaves residue on the sides of the glass.
S: Roasted barley, coffee, and licorice.
T/M: Coffee, bitter (unrefined) chocolate, hints of dark fruit, roasted grain, and other flavors reminiscent of coffee with cream. Light carbonation accents the thick, creamy, smooth mouthfeel. This stuff pours like dirty motor oil.
D: I don't think it was designed as a session beer, but it is highly drinkable for a sweet stout.
