Served in a 16oz. snifter at the brewery.

A- Reddish brown, medium haziness, thin slightly off white head that dissipates to a thin ring.

S- Sweet cherry, slight sour cherry, ABV comes through, some oak and light vanilla notes.

T- Tastes like cherry Juicy Juice with a shot of bourbon, all in an amazing way. The alcohol is definitely there and slightly warms the tongue but not a real burn in the throat. Taste is very rich and demands to be savored.

M- Slightly syrupy a definite sipper.

O- Really enjoy this one, it might be a bit too fruit forward and taking away some the more subtle barrel note though but still an amazing beer.

The cherries dominate this big beer. I love the real cherry flavor, but it masks the maltiness of the old ale. The tannic bitterness of cherry juice is actually a bit much as well. But the real cherry flavor is what makes this a winner for me.
