A: Dark, viscous black with a dense mocha smallish head.
S: Sweet molasses, roasted malt, some dark raisin-like fruit. A nicely complex beer.
T/M: Awesome stuff. Very well balanced, with a good creamy mouthfeel. Not a ton of carbonation but enough that it's not syrupy or cloying. The smells are all there in the mouth, with a nice lingering sweetness that is never overpowering. Very complex.
D: Despite the 10%+ abv I could drink several of these. Not something you'd normally say about a RIS, which is a testament to how well this one is balanced.
