A Poured into a Duck Rabbit snifter. Opaque black and thick with a tan head which subsides into a collar and leaves lacing on the glass.
S Caramel, dark chocolate and some alcohol on the nose.
T Big, bitter, boozy chocolate flavors are the order of the day as the malts and hops meld together. As it warms the chocolate becomes sweeter. The bitter chocolate flavors persist and expand into the finish.
M Mouthfeel is like a big dark chocolate milkshake, Syrupy and viscous.
D Drinkability is limited by the strength of the beer and by a bit of an alcohol burn. I know I won't be able to manage more than one of these. I'm not halfway through this thing and it is kicking my ass already.
A huge beer with huge flavors. One hell of an imperial stout.
