12fl oz bottle poured into my snifter
Pitch black with no light passing through. Brownish one inch head that fades a little quickly and leaves a bit of lacing clinging to my glass.
Good aroma of roasted malts with dried fruit. Good amount of dark chocolate, cocoa, and roasted coffee. Dried fruits of prunes, dates, cherries. A bit of the alcohol is detected as well.
Good taste of dark chocolate and milk chocolate, espresso, a bit of roasted malts midway with a sweet chocolate brownie taste. A bit of bitterness along with a touch of coffee is in the finish.
Full bodied and smooth with a silky mouthfeel
Good RIS that I would recommend for people to try.
