12 oz into a New Belgium globe. Batch 11,400 Packaged 10/12/12.
A - Deep brown with red highlights, hazy. Moderate head. Wanted more foam!
S - Complex; cinnamon, plum & raisin. Faint cherry. A different type of complexity than belgian ales - seems cleaner.
T - Deep dark stonefruits with an almost smokey background note. Extremely complex and multi-layered. Finish is surprisingly hoppy with a distinct resiny note. Becomes warming very quickly, but far from hot alcohols.
M - Heavy body with mild carbonation. Creamy.
O - This got better and better as time went on. An intense experience.
