Bottle to pint glass results in a dark copper with a thin, offwhite head. Little retention. Oily, malty smell. Most notable is the rich plum-like malts that have a very well-combined flavor of sweetness with a bitter finish. Very smooth and drinkable for a beer of this complexity. Clearly a good candidate for aging.
