Picked this up at Save-On, a great beer store in Mentor Ohio. Deep dark brown-red pour with quickly fading head and decent lacing. Earthy, herbal nose with lots of dark fruits, molasses and alcohol. The taste is much the same with the dark fruits being the star. Rasins, dates, prunes along with molasses and brown sugar. If there was an attempt to hide the alcohol it failed. It warms from start to finish. Between the alcohol and the syrupy mouthfeel, it's not all that drinkable. With that said, it's another decent beer from Bells, but just a bit too sweet for me.
