This is the first of tonight's line up if that tells you anything. Batch 9999, awesome! Rich dark appearance completely opaque with a very thin head. A lot of sediment on the bottom of the bottle and it must be caked on there because it takes some shaking to pull it up. A good dark Belgium sent with a fair amount of roasted malt, sweet and roasted. A bit spicy, sweet, and sugary taste. An odd combination in the mouth that warms up well. Maybe less of the roasted and more of the sugary would make this flavor taste more Belgian. A good slick oily texture with a decent thickness. Pretty decent beer. I probably could drink two or three of these.
