Nice spiced stout, flavorful and well-balanced and mildly rich. Sampled this one on tap at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe. Looks really good, nice rich very dark brown, almost black color with some mild white lingering head and loads of spotty lingering lacing. Smells of some milk chocolate, medium roast coffee, nuttiness, cinnamon, nutmeg, some other muddled holiday spices, malt and maybe a touch of caramel. Tastes very similarly, but man is the taste warm and inviting especially when the beer is allowed to warm closer to room temperature. Can’t taste the slightly higher ABV. Definitely has notes of Christmas in this beer, but I wouldn’t limit its consumption to only around the holidays. Smooth, mild, slightly creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation. A really enjoyable offering.

Found this one at the beermuda for 5 bucks full 16oz pour. Deep dark black with a mocha head. Smell is the best tons of wood cinnamon spice and sweet malts that seem like maple. Best part of the beer it's not dry or bitter almost honey like sweetness with a cinnamon spice balance and a mild roasty chocolate finish.
Overall a great balanced winter warmer from bells hope they don't retire it and I find it in bottles!

32oz growler filled at Heinen's in University Hts., Ohio
Growler poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with a small light khaki head that fades leaving solid retention and little lacing. The aromas are full of cocoa malts and chocolate along with some spices. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger are definitely in the mix. The flavors basically follow the nose. Lots of chocolate with some spice notes. Nothing overwhelms and everything is balanced. There's also some hints of anise in the mix. Finishes clean. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and feels light with active carbonation. It's very smooth and easy to drink. It's dangerously drinkable.
This is a nice stout. Balance is the key with this one. It might not be flashy, but it's very enjoyable. This one would really hit the spot during fall/winter. It's probably better than my "numeric score" might indicate. I really like it.

On tap at ABV.
Black with a brown head, this looks like a solid stout. The nose, as is to be expected from a Bell's stout, is delicious. Coffee and dark chocolate, mildly bitter, quite aromatic, paired with a moderate blend of cinnamon and clove, a little bit of smoke, a little bit of caramel. Deep, layered and delicious. The palate opens with a blend of spiced chocolate with cinnamon, clove, chocolate, a little allspice and some creamy coffee. Lush on the palate and softly carbonated, enhancing the spice and the chocolate characteristics, this beer is the liquid equivalent of a mildly sweet, delicately spiced, dark chocolate cake. Excellent.

Aroma is ginger and cinnamon dominant, with notes of vanilla and chocolate. Almost tar-like, smoky.
Flavor is very spice laden, with a roasty, bitter, tar finish.

Not overberring. Coffee and chocolate notes. A good stout.
