Reviewed with speedwayjim and steph seved out of a chalice.
Appearance: 11/2 fingers of light brown head. Jet blakc with no lacing.
Smell: slightly metallic but there is a dark malt and lactose that breaks through the metallic.
Taste:opens with a dark roasted malt and dark chocolate as the lactose comes through in the middle to the finish leaving a malty and lactose aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied at most and medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I would have this again and would definitely recommend this to someone who seeks a dark malt character supported by a subtle coffee as a lactose come in at the end.
Serving type: bottle
