Gorgeous midnight pitch-black, with nice half-finger tan head. Bubbly, with decent retention and solid lacing, sticking to the glass attractively.
Nice aromatic touches of sweet roasted barley and cocoa, and other dark aromas/flavors. Kind of faint, have to sniff hard to notice.
Sweet toffee, light milk chocolate, vanilla and slightly roasted barley dominate the tongue. Fairly medium body, low carbonation. Very smooth, like a light chocolate shake, as nay stout should be.
Very good, tasty stout worthy of even the most elite ones. Maybe not the best, but very solid indeed.
