A: Small, less than one finger dense, dark beige head. Extremely dark brown/black body, not insight into it all.
S: Fills the room with molasses and coffee smells at first. A closer investigation gives me cooked brown sugar or toasted sugar of some sort. Sort of caramelly even, maybe like caramel mixed with dark chocolate.
T: Very dry and roasty, like hot chocolate made with all cocoa powder. Not too complex. Good, but not much going on. Apart from being very dry, there's not much impressive about this beer.
M: The dry taste translates into a dry feeling as well, but it has some good body. It's nice to have a stout that isn't so thick.
D: My friend that gave me this did so because in three + hours he'd only drank 2.5, and I'm not surprised.

The beer comes in a black color with a scrumptious looking fluffy tan head that just stays.
The aroma has a good amount of medium roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, oats, like Breakfast Stout, and actual creaminess of dairy.
On the flavor, the beer attacks of rich roasted malt along with a hint of dark dried fruit and in an extremely manner for this ABV and style. Almost like burnt wood and licorice. There's some bittersweet chocolate on the middle, then onto coffee grounds and a good roasted bitterness, along with a bit of creaminess.
The mouthfeel as expected is medium minus to light.
The beer is rich and robust and does not hold back despite it's ABV. A pleasant surprise from Bell's.
