A - maybe a little over a finger of light tan head on a deep black body. Requires less than 5mm to see through. Some good lacing. Bubbles of all sizes.
S - A lot of chocolate. Bitterness from some hops. Mellow. Some vanilla as well. Simple.
T - Again just a little too sour for me on the flavor. Like a sour milk sour which is not good. There are some stouty flavors such as chocolate and vanilla.
M - Not really all that creamy to me. Medium body and moderate carbonation make this not bad, but they say it will be double creamy.
O - Pretty pedestrian to me. Sure, overall it is pretty good, but nothing stands out and makes me want to go get more.

Pours deep brown almost black with a finger of tan head fading into a ring with some decent lacing.
Aroma is slightly mild. Some espresso and vanilla.
Tastes almost like drinking a chocolate coffee milkshake. Big bitter chocolate flavors up front. Some roasted malts and earthy hops come in near the back and it finishes acidic and dry with a good roasted espresso flavor.
Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation levels. Very very creamy. The best part of the mouthfeel.
My favorite of Bell's stouts. Easily approachable with lots of good flavors going on.

I've had this not long ago, also in bottle form, and rated it much higher then (4.75). Not sure if it's what I've eaten recently, or the other beer I've already had toinght, and maybe my taste buds are just tired and receptors all used up. But this seemed disappointingly bland. Almost no aroma. Beautiful rocky tan head. And smooth in the mouth. But where'd it go?
After it warmed up, the aroma came out nicely. Too bad it was all gone by that point.

A: Pours black with some nice shades of brown around the edges. There is about a half finger of tan head that fades quickly. A bit of lacing is left on the glass as it drinks.
S: The nose is chocolate, light coffee, light cream, some caramel, and a good dose of roast. It's a nice mix of sweet and roasty.
T: It starts out sweet and chocolaty, like chocolate milk. Toasted cashews and chestnuts come on in the middle. The finish is coffee with cream and sugar. This is solid.
M: Medium bodied beer. It's mega creamy. It coats the palate and takes awhile to move off. All the flavors work well together in this one.
O: Really nice. I had heard good things about this brew, and have been wanting to try it for awhile. It does not disappoint. Glad I picked this up.
