A: Very dark maroon with no head and no lacing to speak of.
S: Aroma of chocolate, cocoa and roasted coffee.
T: Flavor begins with sweet malt and caramel, then progresses to chocolate. Cherries come in rather suddenly near the finish, a pleasant surprise.
M: Medium body.
D: Good one, very drinkable.

Notes from 7/16/14 at Hopleaf in Chicago, IL
Bottle into pint glass.
A: Opaque dark brown with a light brown head that disappears. Minimal lacing
S: Tart cherries, dark chocolate. Yeasty and musty.
T: Tart cherries. Roasted malts.
M: Thin a mildly carbonated. Too thin for what I was looking for in a stout.
D: Not very drinkable. Thin and tart. Does not hold up well to room temperature. This is cherry juice with a little stout, not the other way around, unfortunately.
