Picked from a sampler case of Bell's that I was able to purchase from the Beer Yard and transport back to Long Island. I love Bell's...at any rate, poured from its brown bottle with its cute illustrative label with Rosewood typesetting into a small snifter. A beautiful amber orange with Bell's trademark sediment in perfect suspension. About a fingers worth of slightly beige tinted head that wittles down to a thin, coastal foam. The nose is full of apricots, a little bit of banana, perhaps some corriander, and some alcohol. Smells like I'm getting into something good here. This almost tastes like a tripel. Wow, lots of smooth, soft fruity esters coming through. I detected some apples in there as well as the fruits in the aroma. The medium body transports the flavors from the front of the mouth all the way to the back with a trailing wind of warm alcohol. This stuff is frickin' fantastic...I've never had anything like this. I almost feel like this should be bottled in 750 ml bottles as it seems to have that sort of personality.

12oz bottle. Bottled on 9/18/13.

A: Cloudy golden body, with a massive creamy white head.

S: Wheat and fruity esters.

T: Taste of wheat as well as green apple and white grape.

M: Creamy feeling. Mouthfeel is a bit light for the abv, the is also a bit of burn.

O: Its alright a bit pricey. Im not super impressed with it to be honest.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
Bottled on 09/18/13

A - It is straw colored and cloudy. It is topped with half a glass of white head.

S - The smell is pear and some Belgian yeast. That is not what I was expecting.

T - The taste is like a wheat beer meets a Belgian strong pale ale. It reminds me a lot of a BSPA. If it weren't for the cloudiness of the beer that's what I would have thought I was drinking.

M - Medium

O - This beer is different from the other wheat wines that I have enjoyed. As I mentioned it reminds me of a Belgian strong pale ale which I happen to like. It is good but different.
