Pours a crystal clear dark golden color, almost exactly like Pilsner Urquell. Remarkably clear for a wheat. Incidentally, there's a metric ton of yeast and debris left in the bottle; it's basically a yeast cake in there, I probably lost a whole ounce by not pouring it. Head is pale off-white, fine and sticky and lacing real well. Aroma is rather faint; slight musty fruit notes, banana and little bit of clovey smoke, reminiscent of a nice German hefeweizen. Taste is very bright and crisp, a tingly combination of fruit and hops, with elements of citrus (especially tangerine), clove, grapes, pine, and grass. In the middle of each sip there's a big, Belgian lump of savory deliciousness that I just can't get over. The body is thick, but nicely balanced by a prominent carbonation. Man, this beer is good! Even my beer burps are kind of yummy. It's certainly a meal in a bottle, I probably couldn't have too many, but once it's poured, I can't stop drinking. Whoo!

A: Cloudy golden body, with a massive creamy white head.

S: Wheat and fruity esters.

T: Taste of wheat as well as green apple and white grape.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
Bottled on 09/18/13

A - It is straw colored and cloudy. It is topped with half a glass of white head.

S - The smell is pear and some Belgian yeast. That is not what I was expecting.

T - The taste is like a wheat beer meets a Belgian strong pale ale. It reminds me a lot of a BSPA. If it weren't for the cloudiness of the beer that's what I would have thought I was drinking.

M - Medium

O - This beer is different from the other wheat wines that I have enjoyed. As I mentioned it reminds me of a Belgian strong pale ale which I happen to like. It is good but different.
