A: Coppery brown in color with some fizzy head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving a little ring around the edge.
S: I've a number of Oktoberfests lately, and this one smells like the others - it's mostly malty, breadlike in nature, and dry.
T: Crisp at the beginning with a foundation of grain, but tasting of caramel, with some faint fruity notes too. Subtle finish, with decent balance.
M: Fizzy carbonation, a little slick and watery. Not creamy.
D: Oktoberfests rarely turn out great in my book, and this one fits the same bill. I'm not lusting after another, but it's a decent brew.
