Bell's Batch 8000 pours a hazy orange with a thick off white head from a brown twelve ounce bottle. A touch of citrus is most noticeable in the aroma, but I can smell some coriander too I believe. There's a very thick mouthfeel that I like, but is much thicker than a typical wit. I can taste some citrus, some coriander but not much else. A touch of wheat is noticeable in the finish. Not bad, but not as good as I expect from Bell's, I had high expectations for this one, it's worth trying, but I'm glad I didn't shell out the $15 plus for a sixer.

A fully aged one for tonight from the doomsday beer closet
from the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. Pours a burnt auburn
color mingled with lightly murky brown and a decent head of
off white foam that settles to a thick ring. Nose of moderate spice,
orange zest, and grain notes with some dark fruit elements (from age perhaps).
Flavors lightly pass the nose showing little to no oxidation which is a shocker to
me with orange zest, coriander, and mild Belgian spices with light breaded notes
on the middle and rear. Decent mouth feel; medium body, low carbonation, and a
lightly warming and subtly sweet herbal finish.
Overall, a decent lurker from the doomsday closet.
Cheers
