Less of a witbier with some of a saison mixed in. Cross hybrid style in my opinion. Poured a murky apricot color with a thin white head that possessed just a slight resiliency. Nose is spices with jsut a slight hint of wheat.
Flavor is odd. Definitely quality-made but so sugary and sweet it throws me all off. Rock sugar really clings to the cheeks. Spices prevail throughout--coriander, nutmeg, lemon zest-- and laast from the first sip to well after I finsihed drinking. Medium to full mouthfeel that almost had a syrup like consistency as it warmed. Solid all-around beer that was a nice addition to the series.
