I was surprised to find this one on-tap, especially this late in the year. The first time Ive tried this beer, and what a better way to do it than the real way. . . on draft, at a favorite local pub.
Pours a golden color. Very little head, very little lacing.
The aroma is a bit fruity, maybe a stitch of some malt smells.
It tastes of fruity esters. The high alcohol content also rings through across the tastebuds.
A semi-heavy mouthfeel, atleast full bodied. Maybe not heavy, but definitly full and thick.
This one is drinkable, and probably quite a well-made, high-quality beer, but it just didnt seem to fit my style. Not one of my favorite Bells offerings.
Serving type: on-tap
