12 oz. bottle, with bottled on date 11/01/2012. Interested in trying this beer, haven't had a beer by Bell's in a while now.

Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass.

A - Pours about a finger of sizzling fizzy white head on top of a bright yellow body with plenty of bubbles floating to the top and sediment swirling around. Thin ring of wispy lacing.

S - Fresh lemon peel. Fruity bubblegum wheat. Pale dusty malts. Grassy and earthy, as the lemon smell dissipates.

T - Surprisingly grainy, hoppy, and bitter. Fruity hops never become too dominant amidst the dry earthy malt flavors. Surprisingly well-balanced with flavor.

M - Slightly dry and bitter, yet smooth and creamy feeling at the same time.

Overall, this is a surprisingly tasty and balanced beer. Bit of carbonation, which is to be expected considering this beer's low 4.80% abv, but it is never too much. Lightly bodied, and low in abv, I can see this beer being an excellent sipper for hot summer days. A simple beer, not complex, but highly drinkable and enjoyable.

Appearance: lots of dregs come in the last pour; nice golden, straw color; thin white head that dissipates quickly

Aroma: mostly grain; a bit of hops; not a lot going on here
Taste: very smooth and mild; starts with a quick hit of bitter; moves into a nice grain bill; ends on a little hoppiness

Mouthfeel: light-bodied; smooth; juicy

Overall Impression: not exciting or mind blowing, but good for what it is; I would buy this for someone who only drinks BMC to see what they say about it; I would drink this again, but won’t go out of my way for it

Appearance - Pours relatively clear and golden orange in color with a white, half-finger width head. Sub-par retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds atop with a thing ring around the edge of the glass. No lacing.

Smell - Crackery malt aroma with hints of biscuit and a slightly floral and grassy hop bitterness sitting beneath.

Taste - Follows the nose. Real plain bready malt base with notes of floral hops coming in by mid-taste, then quickly ramping up to deliver a bitter, grassy finish.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, bitey carbonation. Slick texture with a slightly watery but also slightly harsh finish, if that makes sense.

Overall - Wow, this thing's a relic. This is almost a hoppy blonde by today's standards. In any event, I'm not finding all that interesting, nor especially refreshing truth be told.
