On-tap at Bell's. Poured into a plastic cup even though proper glassware was right in front of the bartender ... not sure what the deal was.

Pours a slightly cloudy amber brown with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly.

Sourness dominates the smell with hints of sour apple candy.

Taste is also dominated by the souring brett with the finish more sour than the upfront flavor. Really difficult to pick up any other flavors through the sour funk.

Medium body with a high carbonation, sparkling feel.

Although slightly one-dimensional due to the intense sourness, I could have easily drank a few of these.

Bottle generously shared by colonelforbin. Thanks Mike. Pours a clear copper with a small white head that has decent retention and leaves some light lacing on the glass. The aroma is caramel, a bit of oak, and some light funkiness. The taste has a bit of sweetness with caramel and quite a bit of oak. There is a decent amount of funk and a moderate lactic tartness. There is also a bit of acetic acid. The finish has a bit of astringency and some light oak. Light body. Low carbonation. Not bad, but nothing special. It doesn't have the complexity of the better sour ales.
